First of all, my sister Stephanie is funny. Just funny. The other day as we were sitting out in the sun a fly landed on her pale leg and this is what she said: "it probably reminds him of a lightbulb"... she wasn't even trying to be funny. Love her.

Ode to Forever 21

Alaska just got a Forever 21. Two words: FAVORITE STORE.

Confusion

So I am in need of a slip for this white skirt I have. The white slip I have is too long, so what better place to look for one that at Walmart? They have everything right? Wrong-o.

I asked the lady working in the women's department if she could help me find a slip. Well she was all kinds of confused! This was an older lady(60s) mind you, so I thought she would very well know what a slip is. I tried to do my best at explaining that I had a skirt that was see-through so I needed a slip to put underneath it. I explained what kind of material they're made of and everything. Well this poor lady thought I meant leggings. Um no, not quite..THEN she takes me to another older lady and she tries to explain to this lady what I'm looking for, but really the only thing that comes out is that I have a skirt that's see-through! Good heavens people! So the other lady proceeds to tell me that they have some skirts over there that are short and that the girls like to wear these days...NO no no! I once again tried to explain myself(I just knew that Walmart had them!) and try to prove to these women that I am not some kind of you know what. The lady ended up telling me that no we don't have slips and that they've had trouble with them in the past. huh? She told me to try the thrift store. Once again..??????? haha I just shouldn't have brought up the see-through thing I guess.
